About

A few years ago, I found my old kindergarten report card in my mother’s saved papers.

The report card said “Claire is VERY enthusiastic about EVERYTHING. But she must learn to play well with others.”

They say the child is the father of the man (or the mother of the woman, as the case may be); that could still be my slogan. It’s uncomfortably true.

I’m still — let’s call it interested, that sounds more adult — in everything (well, almost), and I still have to be careful not to let my focus on goals overwhelm group dynamics (see, doesn’t that sound professional?) Not much has changed, though I’ve gussied up the language a bit.

This blog is simply a foray into various topics, as the whim takes me — that is, after all, the essence of quidnuncity.
